What is the minimum about of Insulin I can put in the cartridge?

We advise that the minimum amount of insulin you can put into the cartridge is between 120 - 150 units depending on the length of your tubing. This would ensure around 50-100 units available for delivery plus enough to fill the tubing and a little extra that can't be delivered.

The fill estimate displayed on the pump is the amount of insulin available for delivery. It does not include insulin needed to fill the tubing (up to 30 units) and a small amount of insulin that is not available for delivery.

When filling the syringe, add approximately 45 units to the amount of insulin you want available for delivery. For example, the pump requires a minimum of 50 units available for delivery after fill tubing has been completed.
