Upgrades and updates

The t:slim X2™ insulin pump is equipped with Control-IQ Technology – a predictive technology that anticipates blood glucose levels when used together with a continuous glucose monitor (CGM).2

Specifically, Control-IQ Technology uses CGM readings to predict blood glucose levels 30 minutes in advance, automatically adjusting your insulin dose to prevent high or low blood glucose.1,2

To keep up with predictive technologies and other advances in diabetes management, you can update your pump, just like a smartphone. Currently on version 7.7 of its software, the t:slim X2™ allows for remote updates during its 4-year warranty period, so it doesn’t get outdated, and you don’t have to buy a new device.3

To update your software, simply connect your pump to a compatible computer using a USB cable and download the Tandem Device Updater.4 You then need to follow the instructions on the screen to complete the update.

You’ll receive a 4-year warranty on your device with your purchase.3,5 So, on the off-chance that your pump is faulty due to manufacturing, we’ll replace it immediately.
